commissioner of police Austin Iwar launches historic social crime prevention project

History was made on the 17TH OF FEBRUARY 2016 by the police in the crusade against crime in Nigeria as commissioner of police in charge of Gombe state police command CP Austin Iwar lauched a social crime prevention strategy project with the training and empowerment of over 250 youths for over a period of two weeks . According to CP  Austin this project cradles a wheel to foster employment for the unemployed youths in the state there by reducing the mencce of youth involvement in crime .. so far these trainees have painted the police barracks across the state to show case their newly acquired skill,meanwhile the state government pledged to provide soft loans for capital for the trainees in order to ensure the sustainability of the project.
