Bauchi State Police ranked high in the 2016 national security assesment

Country Crime Report continued her end of the year assesment of National Security, this time visited Bauchi state on the 22nd to 24th of December 2016 for an on the spot assessment of security in the state, a state that witnessed reckless infiltration of domestic terrorism and cattle rustling in the North East just barely two years ago.

While interacting with the commissioner of police Zaki Ahmed, he exposed the uncommon strategies been engaged to maintain peace and safeguard the lives and property of the people in the state, revealing to our team how the police high command has engaged in counter terrorism operations, community sensitization, intelligence led policing, anti kidnapping operations operations and much more in the last one year.

Zaki was confident in his narrative that Bauchi state is free from any form of domestic terrorism known as Boko Haram. According to him Bauchi state was about the safest state in Nigeria.
