DCP ABBA KYARI AND HIS LEGACY OF INEGRITY

Can anything good come out of Jerusalem? This statement is a clear scriptural word from the Holy book THE BIBLE. Nazareth, a little town in Bethlehem, Jerusalem and a tribe that is very poor as at then and seen as the place not fit for habitation in the olden days. How come Nazareth later became a known town and became celebrated till today two thousand years after a single man walked through the town and the whole story changed for best.

Today, Jesus Christ is not just known as the savor of the world but as Jesus of Nazareth. Name of a place attached to name of the savor. Is that not wonderful?.

The above narrative which I have used to best describe Nigeria Police force and what is known today. It will be difficult for anyone to accept the fact that police is actually your friend. Can anything good come out of Police?.

With the recent #endsars protest that greeted the entire country over the past three weeks and the aftermath of the protest, it has given more doubt in the minds of so many people that nothing good can ever come out of Nazareth. Police brutality, extortion and all kinds of vices can not be denied and in the same way, the magnitude of work the force is doing can never ever be overemphasize.

Something indeed good has  actually come out of Nazareth (Police force) when it comes to professionalism and call for duty. We have seen over the years how gallant officers in the force had put their life on the line to end criminality and bring to book perpetrators of this humus crime to Justice.

The social media was greeted with the news of submission by a business man in Lagos whose petition was against the most celebrated Nigerian Police office DCP Abba Kyari. The judicial panel have received the petition and yet to hear from all parties involved in this matter to enable them unravel the truth. While we agree that statement can not be made based on the matter until the judicial panel conclude on the petition, we need to look at the track record of the said officer and professional conducts over the years. Result gain while discharging his lawful duties and accolades received due to achievements. The recent among many is the award of excellence from National Assembly (house of representative) at the floor of the House. Response from Barr Hamza Nuhu on the Blackmail Attempt on DCP Abba Kyari by a Criminal Afeez Mojeed earlier charged to court. 

Fraudster Afeez Mojeed defrauded 94million Naira From a Victim. He was arrested  6yrs ago and 41m was recovered from the proceeds of the crime which he voluntarily paid the victim(Owner of the money)  back directly through the victim’s Account. 

He Confessed on Video and in written that he bought Honda Account 2008 model and 7m land from the 94m he defrauded and that he has squandered the remaining 31m on hotels and girlfriends. He submitted the car and land documents which was registered as exhibit before He was charged to court and after some years he was discharged not acquitted from court because the complainant was not coming to court as most Nigerians do. 

The land document and the car That were registered as exhibit are still kept with the exhibit keeper in lagos. 

The criminal will be re-Arrested and charge to court again as he was not acquitted by the court also the complainant has assured the Police that he is in Nigeria now and he is ready to be attending the court process untill his case is concluded this time around because he said he will not leave his balance of 31m to the Fraudster. 

We are surprise the Fraudster is mentioning Abba Kyari’s name like he gave him One kobo. He has not given him one kobo and it’s on record that the Respected officer have never collected money from any of his Suspects  despite the thousands of cases he has handled all these years. 

He wouldn’t have been who he is today if he is a cheap corrupt officer like this. He has no evidence of giving Abba Kyari one kobo. All lies from a criminal that was charged to court. Let him prove all the lies he is talking. Also the Criminal should know that giving false information is still an offense in Nigeria for which one can be charged to Court. 

With 50k now a Lawyer can write Pettition for you based on any False allegations you make without prove against anybody and you can leak it to the media and if the person in question have a name or he is known In the country it will sell. But legal actions will be taken because criminals like this cannot try such and go free. 

If it’s true that somebody ate his 41m what is he doing throughout the last 6yrs, Why didn’t he go to the ICPC, EfCC or Court? 

Some Human Right Lawyers have declared on their own that they will sue the Fraudster for defamation of character.

It is important to state categorically, that something significantly has come out of Nigeria Police force through the hardworking and expert put in  by officers like DC Abba Kyari. As the Officer incharge of Sars Lagos State, he led the team of men who raided and arrested so many notorious criminals in and out of Lagos State. Many kidnapped victims regained freedom because of his personal interventions. 

As I conclude, this is the time to lend our voice to support the real heroes in uniform. They may not be the best or perfect individuals, but without them we may never comfortably close our eyes and get the assurance that our night sleep will not be truncated by criminals. Let alone living freely without fear of been kidnapped, defrauded or assassinated. 

DCP Abba Kyari has turned the paradigm shift and instituted integrity as a core policing attribute amongst policemen. Playing a profound role as role model to policemen in the country and entrusted in the minds of Nigerians as one of the few beloved police officers making the difference even at this most trying moment of our nations security.
